Resumen
In the last two decades, bioinformatics has experienced significant growth in both research output and practical applications, particularly following advances in high-throughput sequencing technologies. Among the various data formats generated through diverse biological pipelines, Variant Call Format (VCF) files are among the most widely used. However, the standards associated with this data format often complicate the extraction of meaningful biological patterns. We propose to apply bipartite graphs to VCFs in order to efficiently represent massive VCF data. Nonetheless, several challenges must be addressed before we can implement this approach.
